The in-development one act version of 'Claret and Amber' by Susan Shillingford is scheduled for 8 performances at The Cultch Vancity Culture Lab as part of the 2013 Vancouver Fringe Festival in Vancouver, BC.

This new play was inspired by and derived from the writings of Canadian author, Lucy Maud Montgomery and BC artist and author, Emily Carr. Abridged for the Fringe Festival, the play offers a rare glimpse into the tumultuous inner lives of these two Canadian icons. The play takes as its premise, an imagined encounter at a CP Hotel in central Canada, in 1942. (For Vancouver Sun review -see 'Claret and Amber' page ).
