The director for the Aug-Sept. 2010 production of 'The Remarkable Emily Carr' is Sarah Rodgers. The cast of two features Vancouver actors, Barbara Pollard as the 'older Emily,' and Ella Simon as the 'younger Emily.'

October 2009

Chemainus Theatre Festival in Chemainus, BC on Vancouver Island will be producing the professional premiere of THE REMARKABLE EMILY CARR (60 minute version) on August 25th through September 18th, 2010 as part of their 'DISCOVERY' series for new works.

A follow-up tour (October - November 2010) of the full-length production produced by Whistling Fish Productions is currently in the works.

Geoff Noble will be producing a new CD of his original songs for release in early 2010. The new recording will include 'THE RIVER,' ( written for THE REMARKABLE EMILY CARR), three songs from the musical GOLD!, and the well loved anthem, KEEPERS OF THE DREAM, which was the feature song of The Victoria Tall Ships Gala Concert in 2005 and celebrates the spirit of maritime adventure that is kept alive through the ongoing work of ASTA (American Sail Training Association).

Also, Nugget is pleased to confirm he is looking forward to rehearsing his new role in the full-length version of THE REMARKABLE EMILY CARR.
