PUBLIC READINGS PLANNED FOR NEW PLAY "Claret & Amber"

The first public reading of the new 2-act play, "Claret & Amber", is to be presented at the Bateman Room in Artspring Theatre, on October 1st, 2011 at 7:00pm.

Inspired by the lives and writings of artist, Emily Carr, and author, LM Montgomery, the play explores the turbulent inner lives of these two iconic Canadian women.

The reading features Susan Shillingford, Gloria Saesura and Geoff Noble. The reading is one of four planned public readings to be presented in different B.C. locations.

CHEMAINUS THEATRE PRESENTS ADAPTATION (FOR CHILDREN)
OF ''THE REMARKABLE EMILY CARR".

As part of their Discovery Series, Chemainus Theatre Festival presented their adaptation for children of S.Shillingford's ''The Remarkable Emily Carr". Directed by Sarah Rodgers, the cast featured Vancouver actresses; Barbara Pollard and Ella Simon.

'OCEAN SONG' C.D. LAUNCH CONCERT- GEOFF NOBLE

Geoff Noble, Jonathan Edwards, and Kelby MacNayr performed songs from Geoff's new Cd ''Ocean Song'' at the Charlie White Theatre in Sidney, BC. The CD includes the well received "Keepers of the Dream" which was dedicated to ASTA at Tall Ships Victoria in 2005. A fine time was had by all.
